Selena Gomez was the celebrity guest host at the VMA Pre-show “Black Carpet” this year. She interviewed her boyfriend Justin Bieber, which was adorable and he gave her a kiss. Awwww young love.
Joe Calderone, Lady Gaga’s alter ego, opened up the MTV VMA awards with a unique performance.
She/He discussed Lady Gaga's fame and then sang one of her hit songs. At first, I was confused…but by the end of the performance I was incredibly impressed.

Britney Spears won Best Pop Video and immediately stood up and hugged her manager Larry Rudolph. You might remember, that Spears parted ways with Rudolph during her "crazy phase" but rehired him as soon as she began getting help. Brit Brit looked great! Its Britney Bitch!
Kanye and JZ tore up the stage with their new song “Otis.” Is it only me or did they kinda look Hot? Lol
Nicki Minaj won the Best Hip Hop Video with “Supar Bass.” She gave a shout out to Young Money Cash Money Billionaires YMBCA and Lil Wayne for being the best rapper alive. True dat ;)
Pitbull, my latin lover, and Ne-Yo performed their hit “Give me Everything.” Pitbull even sang the lyrics “I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan” even though Lilo is
suing them for using her name.
I hate to say it, but Chris Brown’s performance stole the show! He incorporated several old school songs from artists such as Wu Tang Clan and Nirvana and some of his most popular hits to make one of the BEST performances I have ever seen. Dancers were doing tricks on trampolines and Chris soared through the air doing acrobats like it was no big thang.
Britney Spears was honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award. Young dancers performed a few of Britney’s biggest hits including “Baby One More Time.” Then Joe, aka Lady Gaga, tried to make out with Brit and she rejected him/her.
Beyonce opened her jacket and rubbed her baby bump after a soulful performance.
The crowd went wild and the camera panned to Jay Z, the baby's daddy, and he had a big ole smile on his face.

Katy Perry won Video of the Year whiles sporting a giant yellow block on her head.
Lil Wayne, aka Weezy, closed out the show proving to everyone he can not be beat. After he sang “How to Love” he took off his shirt and then proved he had the best body at the show. He went a little crazy singing “I’m not a Star.” Unfortunately, half of the song was bleeped out due to Weezy's naughty language.
I am a little shocked Foster the People didn't win anything....lets hope for next year.
