October 2011- Lindsay Lohan was back before the judge and prosecutors recommended that she be sent back to jail for failure to complete service at an L.A. women's shelter.  Lindsay was kicked out of the Womens Shelter for not showing up 9 times.  Lindsay was quoted telling the probation department that community service at the Womens Shelter was "unfulfilling."  The judge revoked her probation, set bail for $100,000 and ordered the actress to complete 16 hours of service at the morgue before her November 3nd court date.  Chelsea Handler tweeted "This just in: Jail has been sentenced to 90 days of Lindsay Lohan."

May 2011 - Lilo began serving her 120-days-of-house-arrest in Los Angeles. Lindsey Lohan received 120 days in the slammer but it was changed to house arrest due to overcrowding in the jails.

April 2011 - Lindsay pleads no contest to misdemeanor theft for stealing a gold necklace from Venice jewelers Kamofie & Co.  She was sentenced to 120 days in jail and 60 days of community service, to run concurrently with the sentence of the same length that she got April 22 for violating probation.  Lohan's lawyer appealed the ruling and she was bonded out.

February 2011 - Lohan pleads innocent to a felony grand theft charge for allegedly stealing a necklace valued at $2,500.  She is released on $40,000 bond and Los Superior Court Judge Keith Schwartz warns her that if she violates her parole while on bail for this incident, he will have her arrested and held.

October 2010 - The judge orders Lilo to spend 90 days at a rehab facility.

September 2010 - Just weeks after leaving rehab early, Lindsay failed a drug test mandated by the courts.  The judge sent Lindsay back to jail for failing her drug text and bail was denied.  The judge's ruling was later overturned and Lindsay was released from jail after posting $300,000 bail.

August 2010 - With only 23 days of rehab under her belt, Lindsay Lohan was released from her treatment program over two months early.

August 2010 - Due to overcrowding at the women's Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, Lindsay was released after serving only two weeks behind bars. She was immediately sent to rehab for 90 days of treatment.

July 2010 - Judge Marsha Revel sentenced actress Lindsay Lohan to serve 90 days in jail and also spend 90 days in rehab following her release. Even though it was clearly too late, Lindsay pleaded with the judge to reconsider. Showing no mercy, Judge Revel said: "I couldn't have been more clear. There are no excuses."

June 2010 - Lindsay Lohan's SCRAM device was apparently set off while attending a 2010 MTV Movie Awards after party. Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel found Lindsay to be in violation of the original agreement and issued a warrant for her arrest and upped the bail to $200,000. The bond was quickly posted and the warrant was removed. The troubled starlet denied any wrongdoing and even posted a bunch of Tweets in her own defense.

May 2010 - Lindsay was issued a temporary passport and when she returned home at the end of May, a judge mandated that she wear a SCRAM device (court issued alcohol monitoring device) on her ankle.  Lindsay was forbidden from consuming alcohol and scheduled to appear in court in July.

May 2010 - When she failed to appear at a court hearing, a bench warrant was issued for Lindsay's arrest. She was partying it up at the Cannes Film Festival in France, claiming to be stuck there with her passport stolen. As quickly as it was issued, the warrant was withdrawn after her people posted the $100,000 bond.  It was Lohan's alleged failure to attend those classes, ordered after a 2007 drunken driving conviction, that landed her back in court this month.

November 2007 - Lindsay is convicted and sentenced to one day in jail, 10 days community service, three years probation, and an 18-month alcohol education program. She goes on to serve exactly 84 minutes behind bars.

August 2007 - Lindsay checks into rehab and heads to Cirque Lodge in Utah.

July 2007 - Just 10 days after leaving rehab, Lindsay is arrested again for DUI and driving on a suspended license. She is found with cocaine in her pockets and tries to convince cops that the pants weren't hers.

July 2007 - Lindsay completes 45 days of residential rehab treatment at Promises. After checking out, she wears an alcohol monitoring bracelet.

May 2007 - Lindsay is arrest for DUI and cops find cocaine in her possession.

RUMORED CRIMINAL HISTORY

January 2008 - Rumor had it that Lindsay allegedly stole and $11,000 fur coat from Masha Markova while attending a private party at 1 Oak in NYC. After several back and forth phone calls, the coat was mysteriously returned to the rightful owner without charges being filed.

June 2009 - Rumors swirled that Lindsay allegedly stole $400,000 worth of Dior jewelry. She posed for Elle U.K. on June 6 and it was discovered that jewels from the photo shoot were missing. Two days later, reps from the studio went to the police and reported a pair of diamond earrings and a necklace stolen. Coincidentally, it was the same set that Lindsay wore in the photos. No charges were ever filed in the case.

Girls Night Out at Arts 'N Spirits!

Looking for a fun Girls Night Out? Check out Arts 'N Spirits in Bucktown. This is the cutest place. You can register for their classes to paint your own canvas.  It doesn't matter if you are an artist or don't have an artsy bone in your body. There is an instructor that leads you step by step through the painting.
They have a calendar online, so you can look through each painting and decide what day/night you want to go. The paintings are really reasonable between $35 and $40, that includes the canvas and the paint supplies, brushes and paint. It's a BYOB, so you can bring your own drinks and even food to share.
A couple girlfriends and I went here one Friday night. We were able to make reservations easily online and just asked to sit together. This night was honestly one of the most fun I've had. We brought some wine and snacks and got there a bit early. We could look around at all the other paintings on the wall that they've done in the past. We all were like 'I want to come back and paint that one'. There were so many good ones! The instructor was really cool and step by step showed us what to do. She even helped us when we didn't know how to do something or made a mistake. You are able to choose your own colors too, so you can match with something in your house.

This is perfect for girls night out or a bachelorette party. But this isn't just for the girls, they have weekend family days and we saw some of the cutest couples there on a date night.

Check out our paintings below. We all did a really nice job. I was impressed with how talented we are! :) Are we the next Monet?

Our Favorite Things.........4th Edition

Hey Friends! Here is another edition of our Favorite Things!

What are some of your favorite things?

Champagne in a Can

Yes, you read that right. I've never heard of this before. Recently we went to a wedding in Indiana and shared a limo there with 2 other couples to enjoy the wedding and not worry about driving. We of course were preparing for the ride there with drinks and snacks. This is where I discovered my new favorite drink.

The champagne comes in this cute little can with a straw! Perfect for pre-partying, tailgating or your next bachelorette party.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circles Treatment Concealer

I'm forever trying to find the best concealer. I need to try to cover some dark circles as well as hide my bags. It erases puffiness, dark circles and fine lines.  I picked this up to try this weekend.

This concealer has a cool little sponge on top and you click it to get some product on. I may just be in love. This totally conceals my dark circles, blends in easy and is fun to use.

So you get the benefits from the goji berries and the anti-oxidents from dark chocolate too. What a great way to snack smartly!

The Kardashian Wedding Extravaganza!!!!

Unless you live under a rock, you may have heard a little something about Kim Kardashian's Wedding Extravaganza to Kris Humphries.

This season on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, we had the chance to 'meet' Kris Humphries. It was also our first time getting to see Kim and Kris together.

Here is a quick timeline, breaking down their relationship.

In December 2010, Kim first steps out with Kris after meeting him at a basketball game.

In May, Kris proposes with a 20.5 carat sparkler.

In August 2011, Kim and Kris get married in front of over 500 guests.

This past season, their relationship seemed on fast forward. Kim and Kris did only know each other for 6 months before getting engaged and married.

This weekend, E! will show a two-part, four-hour wedding special. These will include all the details after the proposal, prepping for the wedding, leading up to the wedding day itself.

I was a little Kardashian'd out after all the wedding coverage this summer. But let's be honest, I'll still watch the wedding special anyway.

We will be breaking down some of the special episodes for you. Here are some highlights.

Sunday's episode

Kim has always dreamed of her wedding, wanting glam, over-the-top romance. She also wants to get married in her prime so all her pictures look good. Way to put it in perspective!

Kris is currently a free agent, which means he doesn't have a job. He's got a sugar momma now, who needs basketball?

Kris Jenner claims they have 17 televisions in their house. Where would you even put that many? In every bathroom, closet or pantry?

Did anyone else notice, Kim is getting ready for bed and wearing her retainer but sleeping in full make up?

Kris Jenner starts to worry about how she looks and wants to fix her turkey neck. On her surgery day, I think this is the first time ever we've seen her without make-up. How big is this waiting room? Kim, Khloe and Rob are all there. Then three of her best friends show up as well. And sick, this isn't Dr 90210. I don't want to see the insides of Kris' chin. I wasn't prepared for that.

I love how the 3 girls, Kim, Kourt and Khloe are all doing a Lucky photo shoot during their mom's surgery.

Wait...Rewind.....

Kourtney and Scott are walking into the Khloe's house, through the hallway of family photos. Is that a tile mosaic on the wall, of Khloe sitting on Lamar's lap and making out? What is that? Creepy.

Um...who has the Rolls Royce? Kris is driving around in the RR. Is that Kim's?

Most awkward moments. Khloe and Kris constantly fighting, talking smack to each other, questioning each other's relationships. I'm wondering how much of this is real and how much is made for good tv.

Kim's wedding wish list: Black, white and sparkles, she's the Queen of Bling.

Kris' wedding wish list: a casino theme, a food truck with burgers and cookies like from a state fair. Has he just met Kim? I'm pretty sure these wouldn't have been on her wish list.

Does Lamar have a star tattoo or two on the side of his head?? He does. Wait! He has several stars all the way around the back of his head, from ear to ear. What is up with that?

Omg! Khloe and Lamar's pantry. Boxes of boxes of donuts, pop tarts, jars and jars of cookies on the counter. I've never seen so much junk food.

Cutest moment.....Rob reading to Mason. Mason giving Uncle Rob a kiss.

Favorite comment... Kim said she's been planning her dream wedding since she was 10 years old. Kris says then you probably can just slot any guy into it. Exactly.

Monday's Episode

Can we talk about Kim's all leopard jumpsuit when she walks in to Vera Wang?!?

It's really cute that Kris has photos of his dogs all over his Minnesota house. I think you can definitely tell what kind of man someone is, by if they like dogs or not.

Kris Jenner and Bruce check out a sex shop for some bachelorette gifts. Now Kris Jenner has a leopard outfit on. Do they just pass them around in the Kardashian house?

Sick! They showed Kris' feet so Kim can give him a pedicure. I think I just threw up. Kim also let it slip that Rob gets weekly pedicures. I'm sure he loved that.

Kim's wearing leopard shorts now. Leopard must be part of the new Sears Kardshian collection right? I don't get it.

Here comes the bachelor/bachelorette parties in Vegas. The girls fly there in a private jet. The boys all fly commercial on Southwest. lol

Is Kris wearing a Hanes white undershirt out?

At the bridal shower, Kim and Mel B. (Scary Spice) compare engagement rings. It looks like everyone is wearing costume jewelry, they are so big and ridiculous! Kris Jenner too, with her 20 year wedding ring.

Kim drops a 'Toats'! Love it. lol.

Kim is obviously loaded but is making Kris use his frequent flier miles to get the minister to California. Hilarious.

Favorite comment.....When Kim and Kris are discussing Kim keeping her last name of Kardashian for work/branding related purposes, I love how he throws a "4 years ago you were just selling clothes in the valley" comment. lol

At the rehearsal dinner, why is Kris eating some steak or something with his fingers while holding his plate? Don't they have some silverware around or a table?

When you're rich, I guess you don't have to go to city hall to get your marriage license. You can just have them come to you. Must be nice.

I thought it was nice to see the real Kim, when she gets emotional about her Dad not being there. I feel like you got to see a real moment between Kim and Kris too.

Love Bruce too! He's such a good Dad.

It was really sweet visiting her Dad's grave too.

The Big Wedding Day is upon us!

Cutest moment of today....Mason saying Kiki for Aunt Kim. So cute!

Wait...Kris is getting dressed but still is sporting that mustache. Is he going to shave before the ceremony?

And we see leopard or some animal again in Kris Jenner's robe, getting ready.

There were so many celebs of the 500+ guests.

Some of the guests include: Eva Longoria, Mario Lopez, Serena Williams, Brody Jenner (Kim's step-brother), Babyface, Scottie Pippen, Sugar Ray Leonard and Kathie Lee Gifford.

Fun Fact: Sugar Ray Leonard is Khloe's god-father.

Fun Fact: Kathie Lee Gifford is the god-mother of Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

Kim does look gorgeous in her first wedding dress! Her headpiece is growing on me. She does look like an Armenian princess.

Still don't like Kris Jenner's big bow on her dress.

Second cutest moment....Mason running down the aisle. Poor Kourtney almost trips carrying him down the rest of the way.

My favorite part of every wedding is watching the groom's face as the bride appears. Kris definitely had a huge smile when he saw Kim. That was really cute.

Wow, did you see her wedding ring? That just looks insane.

I liked all the sisters wearing the white hoodies with Team Humps on the back. lol

Congrats to Kim and Kris!

What did you think of Kim's Fairytale wedding episodes?

Stay tuned for Kim and Kourtney take New York, coming in November.

Book Review - If It Was Easy, They'd Call the Whole Damn Thing a Honeymoon

I mentioned this book last week, 'If It Was Easy, They'd Call the Whole Damn Thing a Honeymoon, Living with and loving the tv-addicted sex-obsessed, not-so-handy man you married' by Jenna McCarthy. I ran out and bought it right away and couldn't put it down all weekend!!

It's a hilarious book about loving the good and bad habits of your spouse in marriage, some including: leaving his wet towels on the floor right next to the hamper and pushing closed the dresser drawers all the way shut except for an inch.

Jenna McCarthy details some of the hilarious stories, fights and more from her 11+ year marriage. She swears our husbands aren't doing all of these things to annoy us, they just don't think like us.

I was laughing out loud reading it, the author must have been a fly on my wall because I swear some of the fights and conversations were exactly like what happens in my house.

My favorites were the little blurbs called, "At least you're not married it him." These are stories of what other women's husbands do. Some made me feel better because other women have it worse than me and some made me feel not so alone because the stories were exactly like what I go through.

So thank you, Jenna McCarthy, for your hilarious and entertaining book! I'm telling everyone I know to pick up a copy today.

Check out her clip from The Today Show.

More of our Favorite Things, Part 3

Hey Friends! Here is another edition of our favorite things! What are yours?

thinkThin Protein Bars

I found the thinkThin protein bars at Trader Joe's a few weeks back and have been eating them ever since.  I have never been a "protein bar/meal replacement" type of girl, but these are just different.  I personally prefer the thinkThin Brownie Crunch Protein Bar.  I have this in the morning with an apple or a banana and I am full and feeling good.  Plus they taste good.

Origins Ginzing

GinZing™
I'm always in search of the perfect eye cream to cover up my horrible under-eye bags and puffiness. This is the only product I've found that does both. It instantly reduces dark eye circles. Bags and puffiness virtually disappear. This cream uses caffeine from coffee beans, ginseng and magnolia extract to wake your eyes up, refresh and restore tired eyes. And it smells good too.

Bare Minerals Blemish Therapy
Blemish Therapy
I'm in my thirties and I still break out. It's embarrassing! They aren't the tiny, hardly notice them ones either. They are the huge, I have a mountain on my forehead ones. I've tried everything from over-the-counter creams to doctor prescribed ones. This product is the only one I've found that actually helps it disappear without totally drying out your skin too!

It's a powder that you just dab on your blemish. It even helps cover it up when using it during the day. My breakouts are gone within a day or two with this. I don't know how I survived before without this. You can find it online at Bare Minerals, Ulta or even Amazon. It's about $18 but a little goes a long way. So one of these will last for a long time.

carry onEssie Nail Polish, Carry On

This is the perfect nail polish shade for Fall. It's a deep romantic burgundy. I love dark colors to bring you into the Fall season. Check it out today.

Lil Wayne's - Sorry 4 the Wait Mixtape

If you love rap then you will love this CD.  Lil Wayne dropped this CD back in July to say sorry to his fans for the inevitable delays of Tha Carter IV cd and he uploaded it on the internet for his fans to download for FREE.  Now that's some lovin.  Lil Wayne freestyles over popular songs like Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" and Drakes "Marvins Room."

Virtual Book Club, The Help

This past weekend, my friends and I got together for our monthly book club. We choose books that have been or will be made into movies; that way the slackers can just watch the movie version or wikipedia it :). I think there are almost 20 of us in the book club now. Usually about 6-8 girls attend depending on who is available. This month's book was The Help, by Kathryn Stockett.

Book Club: Our Next Book Is...

Now I don't know if you've ever been to a book club but ours is mostly a girl's night with a little talk of the book. We mostly spend the night drinking lots of wine, catching up, chatting about relationships, visits to the therapist, who Jennifer Aniston is dating and more.

This time almost everyone read the book, which is a new record for us! We also talked about this book more than we have ever talked about any other book. I think that just goes to show you what a hit The Help is!

Did you know The Help was rejected 60 times before someone wanted to publish it? Now it's a best seller and has been the number one movie for several weeks now. I bet all those people who rejected it are kicking themselves right now.

Have you been reading The Help along with us? We hope so.

Here are a couple questions/topics that we brought up during our book club.
What did you think of the book?

Who was your favorite character? Ours was a mix between Aibileen and Celia.

What did you think about Minny being the strongest of the group of maids, yet so powerless when it came to her husband?

What do you think about Aibileen being given the Miss Myrna columns? We liked it and that she was to be paid the same rate as Skeeter. That job mixed with the profits from future sales of the book, she really will be able to start her life over.

What did you think about Skeeter's mom going into remission from cancer? Do you think it was timely considering Skeeter was headed to New York?

Did you know Kathryn Stockett had a maid growing up herself? She wanted to write a book from the voice of "The Help" and didn't want it to be the stereo-typical version like you see in the movies.

Let us know your thoughts about The Help!

We will announce our next virtual book club pick soon, so stay tuned!
